DEVASTATED Perth singer Natalia claims she was axed from performing at a Mariah Carey concert because the pop star didn’t want to share the stage with another woman.
Carey, 45, kicked off the Aussie leg of her beleaguered global Elusive Chanteuse tour in Perth at the weekend.

Natalia, a successful singer in Western Australia, was due to perform as a support act for the US diva last night but says her appearance was cancelled at the last minute. She described the hero singer as her “childhood idol” and was heartbroken to have missed out on performing.

“Absoluely devistated (sic) that @MariahCarey has pulled me from her stage because I am female for tomorrow night’s show! My Idol and inspiration,” Natalia tweeted to her 1074 followers.
Natalia today reiterated her claims on Twitter: “I was booked as a local support act tonight and pulled the day before because she would not have a female on stage #guttered (sic).”
The disappointed singer made plans to catch up with Carey’s other support act, Nathaniel, who actually made it to the stage to perform before the superstar singer.
It’s been a difficult year for Carey, who is in the midst of a divorce from her second husband Nick Cannon. The couple share three-year-old twins, Monroe and Morroco who were named after movie star Marilyn Monroe and the decor of a room in Carey’s mansion.
Things have gone from bad to worse for Carey since announcing the split. Her much-hyped tour has not only received negative reviews from critics and fans but has failed to sell out here in Australia.
Tickatek was forced to slash ticket prices in a last minute flash sale to try and fill stadiums in Sydney and Melbourne.
