Nice work. Must have taken forever to do.

Hello David I’ve had issues with copyright strikes with Supertramp. I had a
strike from Evergreen Media who seems to manage their music. It sticks for
6 months and it reduces your length of videos to 15 minutes or less. A
world wide block requires that you remove the video before you can upload
again. I sometimes get audio blocks. The audio edit tells you the songs
causing the problems. I remove those songs and often upload again with a
different song. Like I mentioned patience is required.

Hi David I find making videos to my favourite music is a lot of fun. I
recommend that you have patience with the things that can go wrong. I find
the screw ups can still be fun trying to figure out how to correct them.
Good Luck

I wonder what YouTube’s internal rules are; I’ve heard many full length
songs on YouTube and have no trouble listening to them again and again as
long as I go direct to YouTube but if I embed them them into my my own
website they get blocked after a while. Whatever their rules it has nothing
to do with copyright. In fact , there is no minimal length of a music track
you can use without being liable for licensing from the 3 main companies;
BMI,ASCAP and SESAC (and that’s just the USA!).

Good work on the visuals – makes me want to have a go! The sounds of ’67
are utterly unique…glad I was a teenager then. One thing…the stereo
mixes of All You Need Is Love and Hello Goodbye are, well, peculiar; some
parts are further back in the mix than I’m familiar with. Anyway, good work
- must have taken hours to put all this together, so well done for your
dedication

1967 is my Favorite year for Top 40, just an amazing year for hits. Funny
thing Sympathy for the Devil was not in top 40 that year. I wasn’t even
born yet.

I’m a huge Cream fan but the first Cream song I could find on the Billboard
Hot 100 was the Sunshine of Your Love in January, 1968. They released a
couple of great albums in 1966 and 1967 but I don’t think any songs made it
on the Top 100 for 1966 or 1967. I’ve got Cream songs on my 1968 and 1969
videos.
10:24 pm
hey oldies fan you have done a great job here, many thanks, brings back many
memories, i’m way back.

SUCH A COMPILATION NOW COMPLETE WITH SONGS?
12:00 am
Hi Dudley I’ve had a problem with copyright issues when using the full
song. If you check out my videos for 1969 where I used the full song they
have been blocked. Unfortunate but there’s nothing that can be done for at
least the time being. Hope you enjoyed my videos anyway. Cheers

I’m so lucky to have been born in 1967 what with so many great songs…my
aunt had made a tape of songs that were hits in the year we were born, my
sister (1969) and my brother (1973). Still have mine and still think that
my birth year had the better songs. Thank you very much for posting these
