IT’S CATCHY and sounds very familiar.

And now the man behind a new YouTube video on all things Australia hopes it will become the next big hit on January 26.

Melbourne musician Terry Mann, or Coach Mumbai as he is more commonly known, has created a hilarious parody video with lyrics to the tune of OutKast’s 2004 hit Hey Ya.

The clip which features famous faces from John Howard and Kylie Minogue to ACDC and the Wiggles, also showcases many of Australia’s natural wonders as well as our love affair with sport, backyard cricket and the beach.

Then there’s the gyrating Peter Garrett to top it all off.

Titled the National Anthem of STRAYA (to the tune of Hey Ya), the clip has already notched up more than 181,000 views since it was posted on Monday.

And with lyrics like these, you have to give the musician credit for creativity.

“My country don’t share no borders

‘Cos of all the waters that surround our sand

Thank god for our resources,

‘Cos they are the sources of our wealthy land”

The comments so far seem overwhelmingly positive, with most praising the artist’s work.

One commentator even want as far as to suggest it could become our next tourism advertisement.
