Carly Rae Jepsen, born the 21th of November 1985, is a Canadia singer, songwriter and actress.
In 2007, she placed third in Canadian Idol season five. She independently released her first album Tug of War in 2008.
In 2011 she released the highest selling digital single in history, Call Me Maybe, which sold over 18 million copies.
The single was followed by a 6-track EP, Curiosity.
After the incredible success of the single Carly Rae released her second album Kiss.
Carly assumed the role of Cinderella in the Broadway production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella and kept working on her third album.
In 2015 she released I Really Like You, which became the highest selling foreign single of 2015 in Japan, followed by her third album E•MO•TION.
The album became a success in Japan and a cult among critics and pop music fans.
In 2016 Carly has worked with the British songwriter Danny L Harle and released Super Natural.
