Stafford Brothers stay silent on Delta

PARTY hardy DJs the Stafford Brothers were maintaining a stoic silence yesterday about the reported relationship between Chris and Australia’s singing sweetheart Delta Goodrem.
While everyone in their circle are adamant the dance music star and the Born To Try television personality have been dating for months, a gentlemanly Chris refused to comment on their relationship.
The Gold Coast brothers are back in Australia to launch new single When You Feel This, their first on new home Sony which is also Goodrem’s label.

And that is all they wanted to talk about despite news of Chris’s relationship with The Voice coach breaking.
The pair were snapped with one of her fans in LA and were also spotted together when The Staffords performed at the Marquee club in May.
“Obviously I have seen the stories but Matt and I just want to talk about music; I will let the press talk about that. About (Delta), at the moment I am not sure what is going on,” he said cryptically.
When asked if Goodrem had attended any of their renowned house parties in Los Angeles, Matt quipped “She goes to parties, I am sure.”
The DJ brothers and the pop star move in the same circles of Australian entertainers in Hollywood and remixed her Heart Hypnotic single in 2013.

Their new single When You Feel This features music heavyweights Jay Sean and Rick Ross and marks their arrival as major players in the dance pop scene after moving to America three years ago to pursue an international career.
With DJ residencies in major clubs in the US as well as regular gigs back home, the brothers work on their own music on flights between America and Australia.
“We love playing hard, partying hard and working hard. The partying is on the weekend but Monday to Friday is business,” Matt said.
Matt credits Jagermesiter for getting them in the party mode and hit out at other DJs who “pour fake vodka down their throats”.
“We try to have a five-drink rule (when Djing),” Chris said.
“But it depends on how big the drink is.”

Matt also criticised the lockout and drinking laws in Sydney, accusing them of eroding Australia’s club culture.
“This is the only country in the world where I have experienced this. It’s not rock’n’roll, man,” he said.
“It’s affecting the culture, it’s affecting jobs and it’s affecting youth.”
When You Feel This is released on July 10.
