WOOHOO! Blur fans can stop shedding Splendour In The Grass sold-out tears with the reunited Britpop band adding a handful of arena shows to their Australian visit in July.
The Song 2 band will also play the Qantas Credit Union Arena, Sydney on July 25, Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne on July 28 and Perth Arena on July 30.
It’s good news for fans of Splendour’s jam-packed line-up with tickets to the annual winter festival in Byron Bay snapped up in under an hour when they went on sale yesterday.

A hefty contingent of this year’s stellar line-up have also added extra dates to their gig calendars around the festival.
But it appears we will have to wait to see if the other major headliners Florence and the Machine and Mark Ronson will be announcing extra shows while they are in the country.
Neither specified that their Splendour shows would be the only Australian performances when the festival line-up was revealed.
