Kylie Minogue certainly has a type. The Aussie pop princess unveiled her latest music video last night, and it’s a loved-up affair, with a leading man who’s the spitting image of her ex-boyfriend Andres Velencoso.

The video for new single Into the Blue details the highs and lows of a relationship between Minogue and a tall, dark and handsome man, played by French actor Clement Sibony. The pair is shown canoodling in bed, kissing in various states of undress, and getting hot and heavy on the dance floor at a party.
Not a bad day at the office for Ms Minogue, then.

It’s hard not to notice the physical similarities between Sibony and Spanish model Velencoso, who Minogue started dating in 2008. The couple broke up in October of last year.

Before Velencoso, Minogue dated French actor Olivier Martinez for several years – once again suggesting she’s got a love of dark, brooding Europeans. Sorry, Jason Donovan.
It’s not all romance for Kylie and her beau in the video — they’re also shown arguing before making up at the end of the song.

Minogue posted the video on her YouTube channel last night, with the following personal message to her fans:
“Hi everyone! I’m so excited to finally share the ‘Into The Blue’ video with you all. It is directed by Dawn Shadforth who also did ‘Spinning Around’, ‘In Your Eyes’, ‘Chocolate’, ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ and ’2 Hearts’! So, we go back a long way and this time we were able to do something different again.
Both Dawn and I were thrilled to have the wonderful French actor, Clement Sibony join us. Check out one of his many films or his next releases coming later this year, ‘Les Nuits d’Été’ from Mario Fanfani and “The Hundred Foot Journey” by Lasse Hallström. Clement is writing his first film, hoping to direct it at the beginning of 2015.”
