ONE Direction could release their fifth — and possibly final — album as early as today, in a Beyonce-style move.
It’s being reported American retailers Wal-mart and Target both told fans that the four-piece’s latest album would be released today or tomorrow.

And it seems Siri may also be to blame for the date confusion.
A fan shared a screenshot online asking Siri “When is One Direction dropping the fifth album?”, to which Siri responded: “It’s Thursday, September 10, 2015”, MTV reports.

But a rep from Sony Australia had no comment on the reports when contacted by News Corp Australia today.

1D’s latest single Drag Me Down was released as a surprise on August 21, and has dropped to No. 13 on the ARIA Singles chart.
The release will be the first album without Zayn Malik, who left the band in April.
Meanwhile, Liam Payne has spoken about the UK boy band’s party lifestyle and how he grew out of it.

“Now I’m a lot more focused and I feel good to be out of that zone and be more concentrated,” Payne told British mag Attitude, according to the Daily Mail.
“There were a just a few times that I went over the limit with things and then I had to pull it back.”

One Direction announced last month they would split in March next year for at least 12 months but “fully intend to get back together at some time in the future”, a source said.
The group — now made up of Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson — won’t tour their fifth album.
