Nervo twins and Kylie a triple treat

The twins, who go under the name Nervo and are one of the most in-demand DJ acts in the world right now, approached Kylie to be on their new record Collateral and she gladly accepted.

Jake Shears and disco king Nial Rodgers are also on the track, called The Other Boys.

“We wrote the record and asked Jake Shears (from the Scissor Sisters) to be on it and he loved it, and we thought Kylie would be perfect so she jumped on as well,” Mim Nervo told Confidential.

“All we need now is Elton John.”

The Nervo sisters have been home in Melbourne visiting family for a short break from constant touring around the world.

They are based in London but spend months of the year in Ibiza, and also the US and South America.

“We purposely took some time off,” Mim said.

“We went to a health retreat in Byron Bay, turned off the phone, well we didn’t really turn off the phone but we tried to.

“We just had some proper time with the family which was so nice.”

While they have made their names as DJs, the Nervo sisters are accomplished singers.

On the new record, which is through their new record label Sony Music, the twins sing about half of the tracks.

“It’s really funny, we get a great reception when we sing,” Mim said. The latest Nervo single, It Feels, is out now, and Collateral will be on the shelves on July 10.
