Minaj denied from speaking to her high school
NICKI Minaj’s high school? They don’t want none of her buns.
The Anaconda singer says she offered to speak to the students of her former Manhattan high school, but was disappointed when the principal declined her visit.
The rapper took to Twitter to complain that the head of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School in New York wouldn’t allow her to “pay it forward” to the school she says changed her life.
I wanted to go back to my HS and speak to the students but the new principal declined. No need for me to inspire them, I guess. Smh

That school changed my life and I wanted to pay it forward to the students there now. I was really looking forward to it.

Known as the “Fame” school, LaGuardia has taught many celebrities, including Jennifer Aniston, Adrian Grenier, Al Pacino, Ellen Barkin, Laurence Fishburne, Liza Minnelli and Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon.
While it may look like the principal was simply mean-spirited or perhaps didn’t think Minaj was the right type of role model for students, the New York Daily News reports the singer may not have told the whole story.
A source says Minaj wanted to film the visit for an MTV production and principal Lisa Mars thought the shoot would interfere with student’s studies.
Either way, we can’t possibly understand why the US Department of Education may have been hesitant.
