Meghan Trainor video slammed as ‘sexist’
MEGHAN Trainor’s video clip for her latest single, “Dear Future Husband”, has been slammed online for being ‘sexist’.
While she was praised last year for being a modern feminist after the release of “All About That Bass”, where she sang about appreciating her curves, she’s gaining attention for the opposite reason now.
The video shows her playing the role of a 1950s style housewife — seductively scrubbing floors and baking.
In the song, she also sings about buying groceries and asks that her future husband shower her with flowers.
It’s these stereotypes that have copped flak on social media.
I know Meghan Trainor’s music is suppose to sound all 1950′s but it doesn’t mean the lyrics have to be from that sexist era too

Meghan Trainor’s new song is an insult to men, women and humans in general. She must be making anti-feminist spiel on purpose, it’s awful.
