YOU would be forgiven for thinking Madonna and stand-up comedy are a strange combination.

However, that didn’t stop the singer trying out some material on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

“Ladies and gentleman we are in for a treat right now, she is an up and coming comedian making her debut tonight from Bay City, Michigan. Please welcome the very funny, Madonna,” said Jimmy Fallon.

Taking her place centre stage, Madonna opened with a joke about dating younger men.

“I did find myself, very strangely, the other day at breakfast with my son Rocco thinking I haven’t had a date in a couple of weeks,” she said.

“I looked at my son without thinking and said ‘do you have any friends you could introduce me to.’”

Jimmy Fallon can be seen burying his face in his hands after she delivered the inappropriate joke involving her 14-year-old son.

After laughter and cheers from the crowd, the performer said she had more jokes.

However, her subsequent material about more of her younger lovers and famous art work fell flat.

Her closing joke didn’t do much better, proving Madge didn’t save the best till last.

“I just want to say there is an upside to dating younger guys and that is, they are really good with phones,” she said.

It is uncertain whether the comedy stylings of Madonna will become a thing, but if the audience reaction is anything to go by, she won’t be giving up singing anytime soon.
