LILY Allen has built a career out of saying exactly what’s on her mind, and her latest verbal smackdown is a champagne example.
The singer, whose comeback single Hard Out Here For A Bitch takes aim at the superficial music industry, has launched an extraordinary attack on the A-listers she used to call friends.
Never one to mince words, she’s described her former pals as a “bunch of sterile f***ing Botoxed idiots who stank of desperation”, likening her exclusion from the group to being bullied at school.
The Daily Mail
reports the 28-year-old British songbird was rejected by her peers when she fell pregnant.
“I thought the people in that showbiz circle were my friends,” she says.
“But almost the second I got pregnant and I wasn’t able to go out and party, they were suddenly quite nasty.”

Allen said it felt like “s***” to be abandoned by her friends.
“There’s a way that those people survive and it’s not by being nice. The way they make themselves feel powerful is to ostracise other people.”
So if you haven’t heard from your old mate Lily Allen for a few years, it’s because she thinks you’re a Botoxed f***ing idiot.
It sucks that Lily feels bullied … but it sounds a bit like she’s complaining about a social circle that she was complicit in for years.
