ONLY Adam Levine could smack a female fan in the face with a microphone and manage to make her love him even more.

The Maroon 5 frontman, frustrated with the sound system during his band’s live show in Toronto Monday night, chucked the mic on the stage, which then bounced up and hit a woman in the forehead.

Levine immediately ran over to check on the unlucky fan, who was seated in the front row.

The casualty, a woman named Stephanie Green, was absolutely fine — and she was about to get much better.

In a video obtained by TMZ, the 36-year-old rocker can be seen rushing over to the woman and apologising, before inviting her to join him on stage.

“In my flustered state, I might have thrown my microphone on the ground and then it might have bounced off of the ground, into poor, sweet Stephanie’s face,” Levine told the crowd.

“I felt so utterly terribly that I had perhaps wounded this young fan.”

He then invited Stephanie and her sister to take a VIP seat on the side of the stage for the rest of the show.

An ecstatic Stephanie later spoke to City News Toronto about the experience, calling it “just literally the best day. My dream come true. I never thought in a million years this would happen to me.”

The superfan said she saved up her pennies for the front row seat, which paid off despite the knock to the head, because she got to meet her idol.

“He keeps apologising. (I said) ‘I love you, I’m happy, I’m OK!’

“I was on stage, back and forth, freaking out. (He) hugged me…grabbed face, held my hands!”
