Lady Gaga teases about Adele duet
LADY Gaga has sparked rumours that she is set to collaborate with Adele on her new album.
The Poker Face singer shared an image of the pair, leaving the music world salivating at the thought that the pair is teaming up.
“Nothing like a Wednesday night bro-down with the beautiful Adele,” she wrote
While it is unclear whether a “bro-down” actually means writing music together things look promising given both are working on new albums.
Gaga has collaborated with the likes of Beyonce, R Kelly and Tony Bennett before but Adele is yet to venture into recording duets.
Needless to say everyone will be waiting to see if these two make beautiful music together — the music industry is eagerly awaiting Adele’s follow-up to her album 21 while Gaga will be keen to bounce back after the relative failure of her album Artpop.
The pair have been good friends since 2012 when Gaga commented on how much she admires the Someone Like You singer and the way she deals with weight jibes.
Rumours of a possible collaboration between the pair came in November when the Daily Star quoted an LA source as saying the two were writing music together.
“Adele and Lady Gaga have become random friends and often speak on the phone. Adele’s a massive fan of Lady Gaga’s voice and thinks she’s underrated as an actual singer-songwriter. The plan is to get in the studio together in LA in the New Year,” the source said in November.
“Adele has started work on a song she thinks would make a perfect piano-led duet. It’s early days and there’s no guarantee it will make the album. Adele will only release it if it’s brilliant and does them both justice but it certainly has the potential to be a classic.”
