POP superstar Lady Gaga danced the night away at Cherry Bar in Melbourne’s CBD last night.

Gaga is known for her love of rock and roll, and she partied like a rock star at the iconic venue – even dancing on the bar at one stage.

Gaga has a thing for fellow icon Cher at the moment, and her outfit at Cherry was something that could have been out of the film clip for If I Could Turn Back Time.

She made good on a promise from earlier on in the night, when she told a packed Rod Laver Arena she was going to have a few drinks after her gruelling show.

Unlike many visiting pop superstars, Gaga isn’t shy to hit local hot spots.

She was seen in Brunswick St, Fitzroy, on Friday afternoon.

It’s a much different story to 2012, when Lady Gaga and her entourage were turned away from Cherry Bar in favour of a local band.

At last night’s show, Gaga was very generous to her fans, who she calls the Little Monsters.

She also thanked Melbourne promoter Michael Coppel for bringing the extravagant ArtRave: The Artpop Ball to Australia.

“I have missed you so much,” she told the crowd.

“You are all so beautiful, you are all so special to me.

“Thank you to Michael Coppel for bringing us here.”
