KEITH Urban will return to his day job with an Australian tour after finishing the next season of American Idol.
The Australian country music superstar will kick off the national run of shows in Townsville on June 14 and finish in Perth on June 29.

Urban has been combining his judging duties with his Light The Fuse tour in America.
He is the only judge from last year returning for the 13th season of Idol alongside newcomer Harry Connick Jr and Jennifer Lopez who was courted to come back and replace Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj.
Urban is one of the most successful Australian touring artists in the world and dramatically increased his fanbase here with his star turn as a coach on the launch season of The Voice.
His tour earlier this year was completely sold out.
Earlier this week the singer made headlines when he tweeted images of his dramatic new hair style.

For his 2014 dates, he hasn’t restricted his run to capital cities and will return to some of his regional heartlands including an outdoor show in Narrabri.
Keith Urban performs at the 1300, Smiles Stadium, Townsville on June 14, Brisbane Entertainment Centre on June 17, Allphones Arena, Sydney on June 21, Rod Laver Arena on June 25, Collins Park, Narrabri on June 27 and Perth Arena on June 29.
