MUSIC stars John Farnham, Jessica Mauboy, Human Nature, Stan Walker, Nathaniel, and Natalie Bassingthwaighte will converge for the Sony Foundation’s River4Ward charity in Melbourne today.
The event will held beside the Yarra at Crown Riverwalk from noon.
Other celebrity guests will include Molly Meldrum, Giaan Rooney, Meshel Laurie, Dave Thornton, Nathan Brown, Melanie Vallejo, Chrissie Swan and Barry Hall.
Farnham, Mauboy, Walker and Nathaniel will perform on a floating stage on the river.
Mauboy is due to fly in by helicopter.
River4Ward is raising funds for Sony Foundation’s youth cancer program, You Can.
All funds will be directed to the building of a specialised youth cancer centre in Melbourne for 16-25 year olds with cancer.
The You Can Centre is currently under construction at the new Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre site in Parkville.
