Headliners leak Splendour appearance

IT seems Outkast missed the memo.
The Splendour 2014 line-up isn’t released until Wednesday (23rd April) but the American hip hop duo have jumped the gun, leaking their appearance at this year’s music festival on their official website.
The Events section of Outkast’s website was recently updated to include their Splendour appearance.

The recently reunited pair are listed as performing on the first night of Splendour in the Grass in Byron on Friday, July 25, which will most likely be a headline slot.
Outkast — consisting of Big Boi and Andre 3000 — reunited at Coachella last Friday for their first performance since 2002. The pair will return to the Californian desert festival this weekend for round two.
The duo announced a 40-date 2014 festival-only reunion tour back in January, which led to speculation that they would be hitting up Australia at some point this year.
Other bands rumoured to be making an appearance at SITG 2014 include London Grammar, Sky Ferreira and Metronomy, Max Frost, Mumbai Bicycle Club, SBTRKT and Parquet Courts.
The official Splendour in the Grass 2014 line-up will be revealed Wednesday, 23rd April.
