Fleetwood Mac cancel Aussie tour
FLEETWOOD MAC has cancelled its upcoming tour of Australia and New Zealand due to the ill-health of John McVie.
The founding member of the group is now set to undergo cancer treatment at the time of the tour forcing the veteran rockers to pull out of the highly anticipated tour.
"We are sorry to not be able to play these Australian and New Zealand dates," was posted on the groups facebook page.
"We hope our Australian and New Zealand fans as well as Fleetwood Mac fans everywhere will join us in wishing John and his family all the best."
John McVie, one of the co-founding and original members of the famous band is now scheduled to be in treatment for cancer during that period of time.
The group, who has just completed the European leg of their successful worldwide tour, were set to perform in Sydney on November 10 and 11 at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
Soon after the news broke, fans took to social media to wish McVie well.
