Fleetwood Mac has cancelled its upcoming tour of Australia because of John McVie’s (left) ill-health.

US supergroup Fleetwood Mac has called off their Australian tour so bassist John McVie can undergo cancer treatment.
The band was scheduled to perform sold-out shows at Rod Laver Arena on November 26 and 27, and The Hill Winery, Geelong, on November 30, as part of the 14-date Down Under leg of their world tour.
“We are sorry to not be able to play these Australian and New Zealand dates,” the band said last night.
“We hope our Australian and New Zealand fans as well as Fleetwood Mac fans everywhere will join us in wishing John and his family all the best.”
Promotor Live Nation said ticket-holders could obtain a refund at the outlet from which they purchased their tickets from Monday.
