JOHN Farnham and Olivia Newton-John will tour Australia together next April.

And unlike his co-headline tour with Lionel Richie earlier this year, Farnham will actually sing with ONJ.

Farnham and Newton-John will perform separately then return for a combined set during the shows.

The tour will feature Farnham’s regular band and a 60 piece orchestra.

Dates are April 4 at Margaret River Sandalford Estate, Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne April 8, Adelaide Entertainment Centre April 11, Brisbane Entertainment Centre April 14, Hunter Valley Tempus Two Winery April 18 and Sydney’s Qantas Credit Union Arena April 19.

Tickets go on sale October 20 at 10am.

Farnham, 65, and Newton-John, 66, toured arenas as part of the Main Event in 1998, sharing vocals on each others hits, with Farnham filling in for John Travolta on Grease hit You’re the One That I Want.

They recently performed together at a gala for Newton-John’s cancer centre, duetting on Farnham’s hits Two Strong Hearts and You’re The Voice as well as AC/DC’s It’s a Long Way to the Top.

Telstra customers will get priority access to VIP packages and seats for the Two Strong Hearts tour, with pre-sale starting on October 15.

Newton-John has been performing her Summer Nights residency in Vegas this year, while Farnham’s last album was 2010’s Jack.

Fans were disappointed when Farnham and Richie’s joint tour this March was more like two separate show. The pair said they had no time to rehearse songs together before the tour.
