IGGY Azalea is known for spitting out raps at rapid speed.
But she has a dark secret. Sometimes she forgets her own lyrics and just makes them up.
“I have a song called ‘Bounce’,’ she told news.com.au. “And it just became a running joke because for a long time — like, an entire year — when the second verse would come, I’d just perform the bridge again. So I’d perform the bridge twice in the song. I don’t know why!
“Sometimes I’d just be looking at dancers or I can be thinking of a million different things when I’m on stage that aren’t my lyrics.”
The 25-year-old Aussie rapper is back on home soil as an ambassador for Bonds to celebrate the brand’s 100th birthday. And she’s brought her NBA-star fiance, Nick Young, with her.
But while she’s enjoying seeing her man and family bond, Azalea’s getting worried he’s becoming a little too tight with her gran.
“She likes to show him embarrassing baby pictures and he likes to take pictures for blackmail,” she said. “So he likes to hang out with her. She tells him lots of embarrassing stuff about me.”
Young popped the question during his own 30th birthday party in Los Angeles earlier this year — getting down on one knee and presenting Azalea with a diamond ring reportedly worth $ 500,000.

“It wasn’t spontaneous … well, I didn’t know he would ask that day but we’d been speaking about it a lot — about getting married,” she says.
“I had a feeling because I know Nick’s personality and I know he really loves family and friends and I thought if he were to propose it would probably be at something like that where he was with all his friends or all his family.
“So since Christmas, any big event that came up, I was holding my breath wondering every time, ‘Will this be the time?’”
With the media trying to pick up any detail they can about the big day — it’ll be in LA, Demi Lovato is a bridesmaid and R. Kelly is performing thankyouverymuch — Azalea admits she can’t exactly have her dream wedding.
“I’ve had to make some adjustments,” she jokes. “I always wanted an outdoor wedding and they have the big open tent — and I could obviously never have that.
“So my wedding is indoors, which I’m a little bit disappointed about in a way — even though the venue’s lovely and we booked it — and of course it’s secret or it would just be swarming with people, so I can’t give it away.”
This trip down under ahead of the big day also means introducing some iconic Aussie brands to her man — including Bonds jocks.
So is he a boxers or briefs kinda guy? Or maybe a cheeky G-string?
“Not a cheeky G-string,” she laughs.
“Although sports stars seem to like to find any excuse to get in a G-string.”
Iggy Azalea will be meeting fans at Centre Court Westfield Miranda between 5-6pm Thursday.
