EMILY Ratajkowski is sick to death of everyone referring to her as “that girl from the Blurred Lines video”.

The actress and model, who stars in We Are Your Friends alongside Zac Efron, says her risque performance in Robin Thicke’s infamous Blurred Lines music video is the furthest thing from her mind these days.

“I wasn’t into the idea at all at first. I think I came off as a bit annoyed in the video,” the 24-year-old told InStyle UK, adding that the memorable clip is now “the bane of my existence.”

“When anyone comes up to me about Blurred Lines, I’m like, ‘are we seriously talking about a video from three years ago?’ ”

Thicke’s controversial music video transformed Ratajkowski from an anonymous model into a recognisable name and led to her career-starting role in David Fincher’s Gone Girl, alongside Ben Affleck.

On her much-discussed nudity, not only in Blurred Lines, but also in Gone Girl, she doesn’t understand what all the fuss is about. “It’s weird to me that the reaction to a woman’s naked body is so controversial in our culture,” she told the magazine.

“My mum taught me to never apologise for my sexuality. My dad never made me feel embarrassed. I also don’t think I’ve ever had an awareness of my own body as being super-sexual. It was always just my body.”
