DJ’s spectacular stage-diving fail

SUPERSTAR DJ Steve Aoki just learned a valuable lesson: best to leave the stage-diving to rock stars and stay behind the mixing booth.
Footage has emerged this week of the American DJ, who has worked with the likes of Iggy Azalea, will.i.am and LMFAO, attempting a stage dive at a recent gig.
Aoki clambers on top of his already unsteady-looking mixing console, which is laden with all the equipment needed to keep the show running. As he leaps into the crowd, the force of his body sends the console crashing down — putting an instant stop to the music, perhaps the biggest faux-pas a DJ could ever commit.
At least the crowd held Aoki up through his stage dive, so he didn’t suffer any injuries. We’d imagine his pride probably copped a bruising, though.
