Quote:

Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor are aiming to hold on to #1 for a second week with ‘Marvin Gaye’, however will receive big competition from Jess Glynne who is fighting to match the record for most #1s by a British female soloist with her new single ‘Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself’. Other big new entries to this week’s chart should include Martin Solveig’s ‘Intoxicated’, 5 Seconds of Summer’s instant grat ‘Fly Away’ and Maroon 5′s ‘This Summer’, whilst Pia Mia, Chris Brown and Tyga’s ‘Do It Again’ and Galantis’ ‘Peanut Butter Jelly’ should climb into the Top 40.

The #1 album this week is likely to go to Dr Dre (whose album is still not available in physical format) or heavy metal band Bullet for My Valentine with their fifth album Venom. Other Top 40 contenders include Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes’ Blossom, Melanie Martinez’s Cry Baby, Neck Deep’s Life’s Not Out To Get You and Vintage Trouble’s 1 Hopeful Rd..
