SHE IS A CHAMPION: Katy Perry ties Jennifer Lopez for the most consecutive No. 1s on Dance Club/Play Songs, as “Roar” (2-1) becomes her 11th in a row. Remixes from Steven Redant and Treasure Fingers, among others, contributed to its ascent.

Perry’s streak, beginning with “Waking Up in Vegas” in August 2009, has yielded all of her No. 1s on the chart. Lopez first hit the top with “Waiting for Tonight” and “Feelin’ So Good” in 1999 and added “Get Right” in 2005. After reaching No. 14 with “Control Myself” in 2006, her active streak of leaders has encompassed 2007′s “Que Hiciste” through “Live It Up” in July. She, thus, has 14 No. 1s overall.
