In its first week, Coles third album sold 361,120 copies, according to HitsDailyDouble which is safely the largest first-week for a rap artist this year. With streams included, the album hit 375,214. That tops what he did with last years Born Sinner, which sold 296,000 in its first week. But thats not all. Cole also topped One Direction. How, you ask? By setting the record for the most streams ever for an albums debut week on Spotify. His 15.7 million topped One Directions previous mark of 11.5 million, a rep for Spotify confirmed with MTV News. |
