*** No. 1 (3 weeks)*** "Dark Horse" Katy Perry Featuring Juicy J
As it spends a third week atop the Nielsen BDS-based Pop Songs radio airplay chart, Katy Perry’s "Dark Horse," featuring Juicy J, rewrites her own mark for the most weekly plays in the list’s 21-year history. Its 16,151 plays (or an average of 97 each among the tally’s 166 reporters) in the Feb. 17-23 tracking week top the 16,065 detections that Perry’s "Roar" registered on the Oct. 19, 2013, chart. ("Roar," meanwhile, crowns Adult Contemporary (below) for a 14th week.) Robin Thicke’s "Blurred Lines," featuring T.I. and Pharrell, ranks third with 15,801 Pop Songs plays (Aug. 24, 2013).
