Chart News: Canada: Madonna #1 18K, 11th #1 album in Canada

MADONNA SCORES NUMBER ONE TOP ALBUM DEBUT

Madonna’s “Rebel Heart” (Universal) debuts at number one on the Top Albums chart with 18,000 units sold. All seven of her studio albums in the SoundScan era have debuted at the top of the chart.

Luke Bryan’s “Spring Break…Checkin’ Out” (Universal) enters at No. 2 with 9,300 units sold. It moves 1,300 more copies than the first week sales total of his last release, 2014’s “Spring Break 6…Like We Ain’t Ever,” which also entered in the runner-up position.

Ariane Moffatt’s “22H22” (Select) debuts at No. 4 with 4,800 units sold. It is her fifth straight top ten album.
