According to Oricon,

AKB48′s 41st single, "Halloween Night," which went on sale on August 26 sold 1,187,633 copies on its release day.


This marks the group’s 10th single that sold over a million copies on the first day, and it also achieved the highest first day sales among all of their ‘general election’ singles.
