IT is not a pairing that you would normally think of but Mariah Carey and Justin Bieber are in the music studio together.
The 45-year-old singer, who has worked with the likes of Whitney Houston, Missy Elliot and Usher, looks set to record some music with the 21-year-old.
Carey shared a photo of the pair in the studio with French Montana and music producer Noel Fisher, better known as Detail.
“Coming soon,” she captioned the picture.
Carey and Bieber have known each other for years. In 2011 he reworked her song All I Want for Christmas is You for his own Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe.
It comes as the singer prepares to get her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week.
It is unknown if boyfriend James Packer will be in attendance at Wednesday’s ceremony.
However packer’s good mate Brett Ratner, who introduced the couple, will be speaking at the unveiling of the star alongside director Lee daniels and music producer LA Reid.
