THE debut show of Beyoncé and Jay Z’s On the Run tour didn’t disappoint.
Although the couple, 32 and 44, respectively, kept the crowd on its feet at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium during their 43-song setlist, they stunned audiences when they showed quick clips of their April 4, 2008, wedding day.
In it, Beyoncé is in a white gown and veil while Jay Z wears a simple tuxedo. Fans also got to see minor details — Beyoncé’s blue nails during the ring portion of the ceremony, and the couple getting matching “IV” tattoos.
The video montage was part of the couple’s Halo and Forever Young mashup.
In another tender moment, images of Blue Ivy’s birth played for the audience. There are also clips of Jay Z embracing Beyonce’s pregnant tummy and cradling the baby after her arrival.
And although there were plenty of charming moments between the two, Beyoncé showed off her toned frame in a number of revealing stage costumes, including a black bodysuit with the bottom cut out.
