AC/DC drummer back behind bars
FORMER AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd is back behind bars after being arrested at his home in New Zealand.
The 61-year-old rocker was arrested in Tauranga on Saturday night and is being held in custody, the NZ Herald reports.
Bay of Plenty police said they couldn’t comment on individual cases and wouldn’t confirm the arrest.
The NZ Herald reports that sex workers were at Rudd’s home at the time of his arrest.
Just over a week ago, the 61-year-old rocker was sentenced at Tauranga District Court on Thursday to eight months’ home detention, after he earlier admitted charges of threatening to kill and possessing methamphetamine and cannabis.
Rudd has filed an appeal against the sentence.
