  marcelguberman your not far behind me you will be in your 40′s yes I am 51
  yrs old I married the girl of my dreams I have adult children & a
  grandchild whome I am very proud of , I may be old if you go off age ‘ but
  not inside or out for that matter’ the very late 70′s and the 80′s was a
  great time for music …but by the time the 90′s came along groups/ singers
  found they were unable to compete with the 80′s and sort of strayed off the
  path [with the exception of one or two groups]
  Just remember in about 16 years time you will be 60 !

  Yeah, I admit that when I listen to songs from today and recently I get
  reeeaally annoyed by a lot of them…there are still really catchy ones
  that I love but I guess music’s sound just keeps changing. It’s something
  we have to live with. The one annoying thing about today is that yes, the
  songs are super catchy, but I want catchy AND creative. Stop repeating
  lyrics so much and actually have more than 3 notes as the main tune in your
  song kthx bye.

  Here’s a simple thought.
  I grew up with this music. Since 2005 and so music start being simply shit.
  Here and there you barely find something actually good to listen, generally
  speaking.
  Take a look at all the music from the 40′, 60′, 70′, 80′, 90′ until you
  reach the present. Make a simple comparison out of the videoclips of the
  music of that time and now. I’m not a guy who sticks to one age of music or
  to one genre. But trully, and sadly, the music (and not only) is now purely
  shit.
  I suppose that music will turn back to it’s true value whenever the world
  status will be better. Better than now, that is.
