Today’s music is a embarrassment. It cannot touch the past. There used to
be real vocalists, real musicians. Hiphop is a joke. And oversinging divas.
Fake country “artists “. Traitors like the Dicksuckingchicks. Maybe I’m not
so peace and love now. But I remember a time when men and women would kick
ass for principle. A bitch was a female dog. A pimp was a lowlife. Ho was
short for a tool to cut weeds. Somethings DONT GET BETTER WITH TIME. The
Hood was a place to escape through education.

I had the absolute privilege of meeting both Rob and his lovely wife Nancy
at a small venue in Annapolis, MD. @ 7 yrs. ago. They were polite,
considerate and an allround class act. What a voice! What a tragic life;
lost his son to cancer and he has been in pain for yrs with degenerative
hip problems. Major crush from the 70′s on. They aren’t in the RockRoll
Hall of Fame – no scandal. No way to bring in the dollars. RIP Rob, stay
sweet; Nancy.

God Bless you too! Ron

The original version of “vehicle” was done by “The Ides Of March” back in
1968 or so. Try youtube this week for “carlos oliva vehicle”. Maybe you’ll
be able to find it. (8^)
