JERRY Hall has spoken of her fears for her ex-husband Sir Mick Jagger in the wake of his girlfriend’s death.
She said it will be “very difficult” for Jagger when he returns to Australia for the Rolling Stones tour that was cancelled after the suicide of his partner L’Wren Scott.
Hall told theDaily Mail Weekend magazine that Jagger is still grieving over Scott’s death.
The band is set to perform a string of concerts starting later this month after they cancelled their seven-date tour of Australia and New Zealand due to the fashion designer stylist’s death in March. A coroner ruled that Scott killed herself in her Manhattan apartment.
Hall, 58, has also told of her own sadness at the death of L’Wren Scott as she revealed how close she and their children were to the late designer.
Jagger, 71, who was in a relationship with Miss Hall for more 20 than years, dated Miss Scott, 49, for 13 years.
Hall said of her ex-husband’s return to the tour in Australia: “That’s going to be very difficult for him. What a tragedy. She was such a lovely girl and really talented.
“I don’t think anyone saw it coming. It was completely out of the blue.”
Hall said Jagger is a “great friend”, and despite their marriage ending they: “Actually really like each other, We’ve always been friends”.

Hall told the magazine she thinks Jagger is “quite the bachelor”, adding: “It probably suits him better not to be married. I think he sees a wife like a candlestick with a snuffer attached — someone to dampen his fun.”
Hall, now in a relationship with scientist Professor Armand Leroi, said she and her four children — Elizabeth, 30, James, 29, Georgia-May, 22, and Gabriel, 16 — and L’Wren had “all got on really well”.
“She was so good with the children. It’s sad for everyone — the whole family,” Hall said.
