COLDPLAY frontman Chris Martin has announced the band are working on their seventh — and possibly final — studio album.
The singer told BBC Radio 1 the forthcoming record is provisionally titled A Head Full of Dreams.
“It’s our seventh thing, and the way we look at it, it’s like the last Harry Potter book or something like that,” he said.
“Not to say that there might not be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something … I have to think of it as the final thing we’re doing. Otherwise we wouldn’t put everything into it.”

But in good news for fans, Martin promised the British band will go on tour to promote the new album.
Coldplay burst on the music scene in 2000 with their popular album, Parachutes. Their sixth, Ghost Stories, was released in May.
In the last year, Martin’s musical career has been overshadowed by his private life.
He famously “consciously uncoupled” from wife Gwyneth Paltrow in March, before being briefly linked to actress Jennifer Lawrence.
