Chart News: HDD: Garth Brooks #1 250-300K, TS 250K, FooFighters 225-250K

WILL THE RACE GO TO THE SWIFT? Taylor Swift’s 1989 will unquestionably be #1 again on this week’s HITS Album Sales Chart, with a second-week number that’s likely to be bigger the year’s second-biggest debut. But there’s a distinct possibility, particularly given the meteoric rise of second single "Blank Space," that she could take #1 yet again the following week. That week, of course, she’ll actually face some competition, in the form of Pearl/RCA Nashville’s Garth Brooks and Roswell/RCA’s Foo Fighters. According to (very) early reads, Taylor could do around 250k next week, while Garth is looking 250-300k-ish, and Foo estimates are in the 225-250k range.(11/1op)
