HAS rapper Lupe Fiasco totally lost the plot? He has vowed to destroy copies of his third album titled ‘Lasers’ with an actual “giant laser”.
Fiasco launched the album in 2011, but now he is willing to get rid of it forever.
In a message to his fans on Facebook, he said that instead of making a new album this year he wanted to “unmake” one.
“So here’s my idea. For all you people who really hated my 3rd album LASERS for whatever reason in the universe I want you to send it back to me so I can destroy it with an actual Laser,” he said.
While there’s no money back guarantee, he admitted that he still loved the album even though many others didn’t.

“The fact still remains that a lot of people really loved LASERS (Me Included) despite the popular myth that it’s one of the worst rap albums ever but sometimes the myth can be stronger than the truth,” he said.
He then called out for fans to send the album back to him and he would destroy it on New Year’s Day in 2016.
“So yeah….if you have a physical copy of LASERS that you absolutely hate and wish for it to be rendered non-existent then you can send it back to me and I’ll have it destroyed with an actual giant laser and send it into next world in spectacular grand fashion!,” he added.
My 3rd musically related thing I want to accomplish this year is not to make another album but to do something waaaay…

Since he made the announcement, fans have weighed in with their opinions, telling Fiasco what they really thought of the album on social media.
One person on Facebook wrote: “Lupe, I think the biggest issue with Lasers is that it has some stiff competition. Lasers us a great album, but your other work outshines it.”
Another wrote: “No ones gonna send it in. If you still own a physical copy of a CD then you are probably hated on more than Lasers ever was.”
