NICOLE Kidman has denied rumours that she banned husband Keith Urban from participating in raunchy scenes for his music videos.
The rumours were sparked upon the release of the promo for Urban’s new single Somewhere In My Car.
The promo features a rather steamy scene between models, leading to speculation the singer declined to participate himself due to an instruction from his wife, WENN reports.
Kidman dismissed this when talking to KIIS 1065’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
“No, I’m an actor, I would let him, of course,” she said. “I think for him, he doesn’t feel comfortable acting at all … Whenever anyone gets him to try to act he’s like, ‘Ahh no’.
“He doesn’t like it at all.”

Urban has spoken of the music video, saying: “I like sex. I like sexy things. My wife is sexy. And this song’s story can only really have one video!”
When quizzed over why he didn’t participate in the sexy scenes he first blamed his touring commitments, then said he wanted the focus to be on the song, not who’s making out.
“Ha! Well, certainly I was touring … but it’s not really about “who” is doing all the making out so much as the act of it,” Urban said.
“I think people can ‘feel’ the lyric much more than if they’re watching me. Then it’s like ‘hey, that’s not Nic?’ instead of hearing the song.”
