IT’S been 22 years since he started, but Anthony Field is showing no signs of running out of Wiggle.
The Wiggles have just returned to Australia from a sellout American tour and are as excited as ever to perform fan favourites on the home stretch of the Ready, Steady, Wiggle! tour.
“It’s been a fantastic year. It feels to me like a lot of the energy of the original Wiggles,” Field said.
The new members of the band, Emma, Lachy and Simon, are getting the same joy out of performing.
“In the end, it’s about putting a smile on children’s and families’ faces. Just to have a positive impact on their lives is an incredible experience,” red Wiggle Simon Pryce said.
The Wiggles performed at Hamer Hall with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra on Saturday.
“We get to tour, we get to see all the children and we get to do TV and it’s really a combination of all those things that’s unlike any other opportunity,” yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins said.
