The pop star teased her newest music video, “Wildest Dreams,” on Twitter Sunday night with a 15-second mashup of clips from the vid. While the full-length version hasn’t yet been viewed, here are six things we know about it thus far.

1 It will debut at the VMAs

Taylor is a savvy businesswoman, and after seeing how successful debuting “Bad Blood” at the Billboard Music Awards was, it’s no doubt she decided to re-create the magic. Her new video will air on MTV during the Video Music Awards preshow on Sunday, Aug. 30.

2 It stars Clint Eastwood’s hunky son

Scott Eastwood, a 29-year-old model and actor, rose to fame in late 2013 after a steamy Town & Country photoshoot went viral. Since then, he’s starred in “Fury,” “The Longest Ride” and even has a role in the upcoming “Suicide Squad” flick — and now, he can add a Taylor Swift music video to his growing resumé. (Though truth be told, he’s much sexier than the British pop star the song is allegedly based on …)

3 It’s (maybe) about Harry Styles

Relationships-gone-bad is standard fodder for Swift songs, and “Wildest Dreams” is no different. Memories of a once-happy couple are rife in the pop star’s song, which borders on the edge of “Fifty Shades”-worthy lyrics with the lines, “No one has to know what we do/His hands are in my hair/His clothes are in my room.” No wonder Styles is such a ladies’ man.

4 It’s directed by Joseph Kahn

Swift’s quick clip includes a movie clapper with the name G. Musterhausen under the “Director” credit. That name, though, is just an alias — director Joseph Kahn outed himself on Twitter Monday after the rumour mill went wild.

Swift is no stranger to Kahn’s work — he directed the “Blank Space” music video as well. The revamped quartet, who continue to trade social media shade with former best mate Malik, filmed the clip for their latest chart-topper Drag Me Down at the NASA Space in Houston.

The video went off like a rocket when it was posted mid afternoon in Australia, clocking up half a million views in an hour and trending on social media as fans in the northern hemisphere woke to the news of the clip.

But they still have a long way to go to break Taylor Swift’s record for the most views in a day with Bad Blood clocking an astronomical 20 million in 24 hours on its release.

The band defy gravity in some of the scenes filmed in various simulators at the legendary American headquarters for space exploration.

And their career similarly seems to be defying predictions of crashing to earth after Malik quit, with the single instantly topping the iTunes charts in 90 countries after its unexpected release on July 31.

It was their most successful global single launch since the band were launched by X Factor in 2010 and the single debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA charts.

Each member gets a crack at the big boys toys on offer at the astronaut version of Disneyland.

There’s Liam training inside the International Space Station replica, while Niall gets all the fun in the Patrial Gravity Simulator, Harry mimics Robonaut and Louis hoons around in the Space Exploration Vehicle which could end up on Mars.

Drag Me Down is the first taste of the band’s fifth album which will be released in November.

They upset some fans when they posted a Throw Back Thursday photo on Twitter from the set of last year’s Steal My Girl video with Malik cropped out of the shot.

THE good girl has just gone really, really bad.

After much anticipation, Rihanna finally released the completely NSFW video to current single Bitch Better Have My Money on Wednesday night — and it served as a not so gentle reminder that anyone who owes her a debt should pay up.

Co-directed by the Barbadian singer herself (along with French collective Megaforce), it’s a violent but darkly funny revenge fantasy that depicts Ri-Ri and her partners in crime kidnapping a woman.

When her accountant husband (played by Hannibal star Mads Mikkelsen) resists paying up, Rihanna gets medieval.

Even scarier, the plot may have roots in real life. In 2009, Rihanna reportedly almost went broke when an accountant advised her to buy a crumbling Beverly Hills mansion. If the new music video is any indication, time hasn’t healed very much.

These are the five weirdest moments from the seven-minute clip.

2.04: Hanging out with some friends

With their kidnap victim tied up, Rihanna and her henchwomen suspend her half-naked, upside down inside a barn in a way that’s reminiscent of one of the more eye-watering scenes in Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained.

3.23: Sharpshooting at sea

Clearly, Ri-Ri’s character in Bitch Better Have My Money has assassin-level shooting skills. In one brief scene, Ri-Ri throws her phone off a yacht and blasts it out of the air. Of course, it’s almost certainly a post-production trick, but it looks super cool.

3.37: Weekend at Ri-Ri’s

Rihanna makes a quick nod to the 80s comedy Weekend at Bernie’s when her kidnap victim (now unconscious thanks to a bottle being smashed on her head) is propped up and made to wave to a local law enforcement official. Just a bunch of girls hanging out, officer. Nothing to see here.

It only took two days for Eddie Murphy and Ryan Whitty to create their new track Lunar.

When Ryan Whitty and Eddie Murphy got together to collaborate on a song, they had no idea they would have the whole project finished so quickly.

Whitty said the production of duo’s song Lunar disproved the myth that recording music required a fistful of dollars and weeks of studio time.

“I sing in a band and my mate Eddie from high school creates a lot of music and one day we decided to do something together,” Whitty said.

“We went down to the beach with a laptop and we produced the track and shot the video on an iPhone and it all came together in two days.

“By no means am I saying that you don’t need studios, a lot of bands will get a bunch of songs together and pay to use a studio.

“In our case most of what we did was improvised and we just threw it together.

“I still believe there are times when you need to use a studio but using everyday technology like we did also gets a bit of criticism.

“People say it is contributing to the music market being flooded because it is so accessible to so many people but I think it is helping to create more opportunities for people.”

Whitty said everyday technology such as laptops and tablets were becoming common tools for musicians across the globe.

“Bands like Nine Inch Nails are using iPads for their live shows and iPhones to shoot videos and I think the accessibility of this technology has allowed more people to write music and give it a go.
